Pumpkin MT and Pumpkin MY (Two Works) framed print | Yayoi Kusama Framed Print | Yayoi Kusama Prints

Pumpkin MT and Pumpkin MY (Two Works) framed print by Yayoi Kusama — Pumpkin MT and Pumpkin MY brings two distinct Kusama works into a single presentation. Instead of asking one gourd to carry the whole composition, the paired format encourages comparison.

Two pumpkins in conversation

MyArtBroker records Pumpkin MT and Pumpkin MY as two works. Displaying them together emphasizes Kusama’s habit of exploring a single motif through subtle changes in form and visual treatment.

Two independent pumpkins in visual dialogue

The combined image is best approached as a dialogue: two variations of the familiar rounded, spotted squash appear together rather than as a single standalone pumpkin design.

The phrase “Two Works” is important: this image references Pumpkin MT and Pumpkin MY together rather than representing either one alone. Seen as a pairing, the works invite the viewer to compare silhouette, internal rhythm and the differing ways a recurring subject can be handled. This is a stronger story than claiming the two images are identical, because their coexistence makes variation itself visible.
