Mt. Fuji in Seven Colours: All About Mt. Fuji That I Have Loved My Whole Life canvas print by Yayoi Kusama — Mt. Fuji in Seven Colours: All About Mt. Fuji That I Have Loved My Whole Life is Kusama’s green interpretation of the celebrated Japanese mountain. The mountain becomes an image of lifelong attachment to the natural landscape.

Fuji viewed through green and poetry

The monumental silhouette is retained, but the green treatment changes the landscape’s emotional temperature and encourages attention to the relationship between a familiar place and an intimate thought.

Artwork Background and Meaning

The 2015 series was produced with the Adachi Institute using a traditional woodcut process. Each print is paired with Kusama’s poetic language, making it both an image of Mount Fuji and a meditation on existence.

Display Ideas

For a landscape-led display, place it where the horizon or flowing form has room to breathe, either alone or beside quieter works on paper.

The Mt. Fuji in Seven Colours: All About Mt. Fuji That I Have Loved My Whole Life canvas print uses a cotton-polyester blend weighing 300–350 gsm. Its woven surface adds texture to the reproduced image.

The fabric gives the image a more textured appearance than a smooth paper print. This texture is part of the canvas surface; the product is a printed reproduction rather than a hand-painted canvas.

The canvas is stretched over responsibly sourced FSC-certified wooden stretcher bars. The bars provide the internal support for the fabric and give the print its structured wall-art format.

The described canvas format uses printed fabric stretched over wooden bars. A glass or plexiglass front is not listed as part of this product, so choose a display position where the canvas surface is protected from splashes and handling.

Yes, the product description includes a hanging kit. The components vary by country; check the supplied fittings and use fixings suited to the wall where you plan to install it.

Use the available dimensions in the product options above and measure the intended wall space. A larger canvas gives the composition more presence, while a smaller size can work within a group of prints.

Keep the canvas indoors, away from direct sunlight, damp conditions and heat sources. Remove dust gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth, avoiding scrubbing, cleaning sprays or soaking the fabric.
