Lemon Squash (5) poster by Yayoi Kusama — The fifth Lemon Squash variation treats the drink not as advertising but as an arrangement of shapes that can be reworked through pattern. The still-life motif keeps the image approachable even as its surface grows complex.

A fifth view of the same still life

Numbered versions are separately catalogued in Kusama’s printmaking. This file is intentionally retained as its own product rather than given the same title as the earlier versions.

Ordinary things, extraordinary surfaces

Fruit, drink and tableware make striking partners for Kusama’s repeated patterns. The combination of a recognizable everyday subject with dense graphic decoration is central to the charm and complexity of her printmaking.

Select from the dimensions shown in the product options above. Measure your wall and, if using an existing frame, its opening before ordering. Allow space around the image so the composition can be viewed comfortably.

Handle the paper with clean, dry hands and avoid touching the printed surface unnecessarily. Display it indoors in a suitable frame, away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
