Infinity Nets poster | Yayoi Kusama Poster | Yayoi Kusama Prints

Infinity Nets poster by Yayoi Kusama — In Infinity Nets, intricately repeated, net-like gestures create an expanse that seems to continue beyond the frame. There is no isolated protagonist: the whole field is the subject.

One of Kusama’s defining visual ideas

Kusama began making large Infinity Nets in New York in the late 1950s. These works connected meticulous physical effort to an almost boundless sense of space and became central to her artistic identity.

Inside the Infinity Nets

Kusama’s first monumental Infinity Net paintings appeared in New York at the end of the 1950s. Building a continuous surface from tiny repeated gestures, she challenged conventional approaches to abstract painting and opened up an expansive sense of time and space.

Displaying Infinity Nets as Wall Art

This portrait-format art poster places the imagery of Infinity Nets at the center of the space. Choose its scale to suit your wall: a smaller print can sit alongside other Japanese contemporary art, while a larger format emphasizes the work’s individual subject and composition. The exact print dimensions can be selected from the options above.
