Infinity Nets (BA) framed print by Yayoi Kusama — Infinity Nets (BA) draws attention to the rhythmic expansion of a mesh. A dense sequence of repeated forms creates depth through accumulation, not traditional perspective.

The pulse of a repeated surface

The BA title marks it as a separate image within Kusama’s ongoing Infinity Nets explorations. Its composition belongs to the same art-historical conversation around all-over abstraction and repetition.

Inside the Infinity Nets

Kusama’s first monumental Infinity Net paintings appeared in New York at the end of the 1950s. Building a continuous surface from tiny repeated gestures, she challenged conventional approaches to abstract painting and opened up an expansive sense of time and space.
