Flowers (1 & 2) canvas print by Yayoi Kusama — Two numbered flower studies are brought together under this filename. As a pairing, they invite comparison: each treatment of a familiar botanical motif becomes a different exercise in rhythm, outline and repetition.

Two views of a recurring subject

Kusama’s repeated return to flowers reveals that a single subject can support many visual solutions. The exact pairing of the two works needs confirmation from the supplied image.

Botanical memories and restless forms

Flowers and growing things were part of Kusama’s world from childhood. In her prints, an everyday natural subject can become a system of repeated lines, petals and dots, joining close observation of plants to abstraction.

Displaying Flowers (1 & 2) as Wall Art

This portrait-format art poster places the imagery of Flowers (1 & 2) at the center of the space. Choose its scale to suit your wall: a smaller print can sit alongside other Japanese contemporary art, while a larger format emphasizes the work’s individual subject and composition. As a pairing, they invite comparison: each treatment of a familiar botanical motif becomes a different exercise in rhythm, outline and repetition.

Consider the relationship between the organic shapes and the surrounding space. A floral subject can be appreciated both as a recognizable natural form and as an arrangement of lines and patterns.

The Flowers (1 & 2) canvas print uses a cotton-polyester blend weighing 300–350 gsm. Its woven surface adds texture to the reproduced image.

The fabric gives the image a more textured appearance than a smooth paper print. This texture is part of the canvas surface; the product is a printed reproduction rather than a hand-painted canvas.

The canvas is stretched over responsibly sourced FSC-certified wooden stretcher bars. The bars provide the internal support for the fabric and give the print its structured wall-art format.

The described canvas format uses printed fabric stretched over wooden bars. A glass or plexiglass front is not listed as part of this product, so choose a display position where the canvas surface is protected from splashes and handling.

Yes, the product description includes a hanging kit. The components vary by country; check the supplied fittings and use fixings suited to the wall where you plan to install it.

Use the available dimensions in the product options above and measure the intended wall space. A larger canvas gives the composition more presence, while a smaller size can work within a group of prints.

Keep the canvas indoors, away from direct sunlight, damp conditions and heat sources. Remove dust gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth, avoiding scrubbing, cleaning sprays or soaking the fabric.

Screen brightness and color settings can affect the preview, while the fabric texture and room lighting influence the physical print. Small color differences between the screen image and the canvas are possible.
