Flower Bloomed in My Heart canvas print | Yayoi Kusama Canvas Print | Yayoi Kusama Prints

Flower Bloomed in My Heart canvas print by Yayoi Kusama — A vivid flower opens outward from a spiral-like center: red dotted strands radiate across a dark purple ground, with turquoise and yellow accents gathering around the stem. The picture feels like both a bloom and a burst of energy.

A flower blooming across an entire universe

Kusama’s 2011 Flower Bloomed in My Heart transforms a botanical form into an almost cosmic event. Its pulsating dots show how she connects living growth to the infinite spread of repeated marks.

Botanical memories and restless forms

Flowers and growing things were part of Kusama’s world from childhood. In her prints, an everyday natural subject can become a system of repeated lines, petals and dots, joining close observation of plants to abstraction.
